  • A bill that would create a board on equine welfare and safety in Kentucky advanced out of committee in the state’s House of Representatives on Wednesday. The Kentucky House Agriculture and Small Business Committee unanimously passed House Bill 398, which would create the Kentucky Equine Health and Welfare Board. The board would be under the state’s Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet.
